Petirrojo europeo (European Robin)

A veces, en estos días de sonidos apagados y de árboles desnudos que tiritan ante la inminente llegada del invierno, nuestros sentidos claman luces y cantos de primavera.
Sometimes, in these days of muted sounds and bare trees that shiver in the face of the imminent arrival of winter, our senses cry out for lights and songs of spring.

Hoy he elegido unas imágenes de un petirrojo encumbrado sobre los brotes tiernos de un manzano ante la mirada de un cielo azul reventón.
Today I chose some images of a robin located above the tender buds of an apple tree and the look of a intense blue sky.


Todo en este pequeño pájaro resulta bello y entrañable, y es una grata compañía para quien se pasea por campos y jardines y puede deleitarse con su canto.
Everything in this little bird is beautiful and endearing, and is a pleasant companion for those who walk through fields and gardens and can enjoy their song.


El petirrojo es un gran solista que ensaya incansablemente desde el amanecer hasta el anochecer durante casi todo el año. Únicamente permanecen ocultos y callados mientras mudan su plumaje en los meses de julio y agosto. Después, reaparecen en otoño llenos de vitalidad y con un canto más dulce y tímido que el primaveral.
The robin is a great soloist who rehearses tirelessly from dawn to dusk for most of the year. They only remain hidden and silent while changing their plumage in the months of July and August. Afterwards, they reappear in autumn full of vitality and with a song sweeter and more timid than those of the spring.
